For use in sewers, communication and water, concrete drainage manhole pits. These manhole step irons are manufactured from high strength carbon steel bar and fully coated in yellow plastic with a non-slip tread, this makes them durable, visible and anti-slip.

Our manhole step irons have been tested in accordance with AS4198-1994, with an ability to withstand 180kg in tension pull-out position and 360kg in cantilever bending, with no effect.

They can be set into precast structures during concrete pour.

Additionally, they can be caulked into a drilled hole with epoxy resin or quick setting cement.
